My smog technician was driving my car over to the smog certification place to get the smog certificate and crashed my car into someone elses. He didn't feel he should have to make repairs on my car, and he didn't have insurance for his shop.

I won't go into his side of the story because it all came down to, wha, wha, wha...poor smog shop owner...wha, wha....

Anyway, I won a judgement in court and now we'll see if I can actually collect the money I was awarded. If you have a car that has a low resale value, but you can prove you were using the car and properly maintaining it, you have the right to have your car repaired when another person damages it.
